The PWI Tertulia

What is a Tertulia? A tertulia is a social gathering with literary or artistic overtones.  It’s roots come from Iberia and Latin America. Tertulia also means an informal meeting of people to talk about current affairs, arts, etc. The word is originally Spanish (borrowed by Catalan and Portuguese).

Our first PWI Tertulia will be on January 20, 2022 from 18:30 - 20:30 with the broad topic of “Professional Women.”  As we are all professional women, this should be an easy first topic to discuss.  You do NOT need to prepare.  However, if you have read an article or book that relates to this topic or have a podcast or video to recommend, they are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.  “Profession” does not have to be limited to business and politics.  Please think outside of the box and include female authors, artists, entertainers, athletes, etc. as well.

The discussion will be moderated by 2 PWI members.   The  topics for the following Tertulia will be chosen by the group.  We encourage PWI members to volunteer to be a co-moderator as we will change moderators each time.

Please register to enjoy the networking, companionship and information exchange!
