PWI STEAM Programme

The PWI STEAM Programme offers support to STEAM women in their career progression within the sectors of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics.

To expand your knowledge and ‘demystify’ how experts are collaborating around the world to keep your data and payments safe, we invite you to learn more about Cyber Security from Rigo Van den Broeck, a leading European expert from Mastercard.

Cyber security in the Payments Ecosystem

Fraudsters and hackers know no borders, nationalities or time zones, so threats can strike anytime and from any corner of the world. They are after your money and your data.  The payment ecosystem is by its very nature global, offering safe, simple and efficient payment services to the public, private, governmental, small business and even non-profit sectors.  Therefore, a holistic approach towards cybersecurity is fundamental to prevention and mitigation of cyber-attacks.

If you are curious and want to understand how combining technology, human ingenuity  and global collaboration are keeping your financial payments and data safe and secure, then join us for a fascinating view into the world of cyber criminals and why building in resilience is important for the future: Mastercard Opens European Cyber Resilience Centre.

  • What is being done to fight cyber-attacks in the payments ecosystem?
  • Why is both technology and human collaboration needed to increase our cyber security?
  • What can you do to protect yourself from cyber criminals?

This event will be organised as a Virtual Event and Zoom details will be sent 1 day before the session.
