Workshop on Business Protocol & Etiquette

Etiquette and Protocol are the basis for every person behaviour and image. In today’s world, more than ever, we require skills that will prepare us for all situations and allow us to maintain our grace and respect even in the most trying of times. Etiquette is not just good manners. It’s the right manners at the right time. It’s about making others feel comfortable and giving us the tools to be viewed as trustworthy (yes!) and dignified.

Etiquette and protocol include not just speaking well but dressing appropriately for the occasion. Using communication skills that correctly convey what you want to say, in a polite professional manner is another skill we all need.

In this workshop we will look at the following topics:

Etiquette and Basic manners for all occasions:
- Corporate and personal
- Greetings and handshakes
- Introduction
The business of the business card
Written and Spoken Etiquette- emails, letters and communications
Cultural Etiquette- focus on etiquette across cultures and customs
Elocution- speaking correctly, clearly and with confidence, presentation skills
Image and Grooming: dressing for success and how to create an image and corporate dressing for executives and leaders.

Sonali Mehta

Sonali Mehta is a certified expert on Cross Cultural Management (The Hofstede Institute) and International Etiquette and Protocol (United Kingdom). She teaches at various universities, schools and organizations around the globe.

She started her journey as a model and concluded with a Masters Degree in Business Studies. Paired with an International Lecturers Accreditation in Cross Cultural Management and a diploma in Negotiation Skills and Tactics, she has created unique trainings that offer first-hand expertise and multi-faceted perspectives.

Her clients include top universities in the Middle East, schools in Belgium and reputed individuals in India, Belgium and the United Kingdom. She has trained the Miss India-Netherlands contestants and various luxury corporations.

Sonali was born and raised in Mumbai, India graduating with top honors. Having lived outside India since 1990, she now lives in Belgium. After going back to study and gaining a masters in business studies, she introduced the concept of an English based Management and Etiquette training program in Belgium. The multicultural exposures have added much value to the vision of the trainings. Her programs have introduced a new concept in global lifestyle.
